TechStars is a seed stage, mentorship driven funding accelerator.  It is my humble place of employment, and a company that is near and dear to my heart.  Every summer, we make ten investments in brilliant teams wanting to build their startup.    We have funded BrightKite, IntenseDebate (now part of Wordpress), SocialThing! (now AOL), FiltrBox, EventVue, Foodzie, Igniter, Gyminee, Occipital and Devver (to name a few).

Quite a few mentors are traveling around the world to meet with you.  This is a perfect opportunity if you are interested in the program, and want an unfiltered view of what it is like to live in Boulder for an intense summer of starting it up (or building your startup up).

I will be setting up a meetup from 5-7pm in San Francisco on the 19th of January, for happy hour at the 21st Amendment. More details soon.
