I just got an email asking me for advise working on a bootstrapped company (which I think I am very good at).
Specifically, they wanted to know how to meet founders.
My response was rather short:
Go to a New Tech Meetup and see who is eating a meal out of the snacks.
Anyone else eating dinner at the [...]

So I just wrote about Jared’s trip to Iraq, now time to take some action.
Let’s motivate the Boulder area tech community around Jared, in the pre-voting day event called ‘caucus.’ It is really quite simple: register to vote as a Democrat by December 5th and then attend caucus, on February 5th (a Tuesday night) [...]

I am thinking about January 25-27 or Feburary 8-10 for the next Boulder Startup Weekend.
What do we all think?
October 6, 2007 – 8:12 pm
1) Technology is engaging, addicting and full of fun situations.

4) Hope sells and people make and break their own dreams.
5) Friendships and communities are what life is about.

It was just a few seconds after I posted the article about Fuser, I scrolled down the feed reader (how did I live without NewsGator?) to see that EventVue, a now Boulder based event social network, was officially funded over the weekend. I had sent a text message to the team on Saturday saying [...]

Fuser, the messaging aggregator just got TechCrunched. They quietly launched into public beta last week, and have made substantial improvements to the performance and functionality.
I am very happy for the team, who I worked with for over a year on this project. Lots of hard work, lots of late nights and [...]
I just found this footage of the last hour of Startup Weekend Boulder:
Startup Weekend Boulder Cleanup from Andrew and Vimeo.
I took a drink of my coffee this morning, took a breath, closed my eyes and had a nice moment.
Things are going well, really well. Unbelievable fairy tale well.
Startup Weekend has taken off. I am going to launch the blog today, and the general excitement is flooring me. [...]
