First off, what a great idea. BarCamp is:
BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from attendees.
For me: a bunch of tech guys getting together, sharing, being passionate, and showcasing. All with a smile.
I have learned quite a bit today. In short:
- We are all connected.
- We are all geeks.
- We can create some fantastic programs that can form the world around us.
Listening to Stan talk about his new product Ligit which I had a beta login a few months back. It will be exciting to see it launch in a few weeks. Then Stan can come back and play some mean disk with me.
